Ove helps Canada’s largest food retailer extend its legacy of corporate reporting excellence to the online medium.

Ove has been a longstanding partner to Loblaw in the development of its annual reports. When the company established a corporate policy to increase the quality and frequency of its disclosure to shareholders, Ove developed a transition strategy to assist Loblaw in its efforts to move towards Web-based reporting. Since then, Loblaw has produced a series of increasingly streamlined printed reports and in 2006 produced its first online annual report. Ove helped Loblaw maximize the capabilities of the Web - integrating best practices such as W3C Web standards for usability and accessibility - to create a platform for clearly articulating the company’s plan and enabling investors to track and scorecard Loblaw’s progress year over year.

Corporate Social Responsibility Report

While corporate social responsibility has been part of Loblaw’s DNA since its inception, 2008 marked the company’s launch of a formal CSR based on key reporting pillars. Ove advised Loblaw on best practices in CSR reporting and brought a diverse range of short stories into a colour-coded layout that tells the story of sustainability in a dynamic, consistently structured format that makes the report easy to navigate and engaging to read.
